I am a freelance science journalist covering neuroscience, physics, and anything else that sparks my interest. I write the Null and Noteworthy newsletter for The Transmitter. My recent work has been published in Drug Discovery News, Nautilus, Quanta, and The Washington Post, among other outlets.

I am also the administrator and communications coordinator for the Council for the Advancement of Science Writing.

I am driven by curiosity and a deep interest in understanding the way the world works. Most recently, I worked as a senior reporter at Spectrum, where I covered autism research and launched Null and Noteworthy.

In the past, I’ve been published in outlets including the Columbia Journalism Review, Popular MechanicsSlate and The New York Times. I have an M.A. in science and health journalism from Columbia University and a B.A. in English and music from the University of Delaware.
